Restorative Yoga with Hot Stones

Restorative yoga is a therapeutic form of yoga focusing on gentle flexibility and harmony with mind and body.


In restorative yoga, props are used to support the body so that you can hold poses longer, allowing you to open your body through passive stretching. The postures are similar to seated yoga poses with the addition of blocks, bolsters, and blankets to eliminate unnecessary strain, which allows you to hold the poses longer for an elongated stretch. Restorative Yoga is the centering of your breath and body - aligning the physical and mental by practicing stillness or gentle movement for extended periods of time. Hot stones are gently placed upon the body to open the chest, relax the muscles and allow for a tranquil finish to the class and a rejuvenated start to your day or sleep.


This truly “restorative” class is fantastic for those who suffer from anxiety, depression, heightened stress, and insomnia or as a great complement to more active practices.
